FLIPKART · REPORTCSV

The Flipkart PLA Campaign Report.

You want to know which ads sell something other than the product they were for, and whether a campaign bids on ROI or on cost per click.

What the file contains.

Campaign-level advertising performance: views, clicks, spend, orders and attributed revenue, with the campaign's targeting configuration alongside.

The configuration is the part worth understanding first, because Flipkart runs two campaign types that this file reports identically. An ROI campaign carries a return target; a CPC campaign carries a cost-per-click bid and no target at all. The Expected ROI column is blank on the second kind — blank, not zero — and reading blank as a missed target produces the wrong conclusion on every CPC campaign you have.

On ROI campaigns the target sits on the ad group rather than the campaign, so it can appear absent at campaign level even when one is set. This is the single most common source of confusion in Flipkart advertising reporting.

What it can tell you.

  • Which campaigns are ROI-targeted and which are running on CPC
  • How spend is allocated across campaigns and what it returned
  • Which campaigns are hitting their ROI target and which are not
  • Whether the account's blended return is carried by a few campaigns

Columns worth understanding.

Expected ROI
The return target on an ROI campaign. Blank means a CPC campaign, which has no target by design.
AdGroup CPC
On ROI campaigns the effective target lives at ad-group level, which is why campaign-level configuration can look incomplete.
