What the file contains.

Flipkart's own view of what you should fix: pricing that has fallen outside the buy-box range, listings missing attributes that affect discovery, and assortment gaps against demand Flipkart can see and you cannot.

It is genuinely useful and almost universally ignored, because the export arrives as an undifferentiated list with no indication of which rows are worth anything. A seller opens it, sees four hundred suggestions, and closes it.

In practice a small number of listings carry most of the available upside. The work is ranking the list by what acting on it is worth, which turns an intimidating wall of suggestions into a queue you can start at the top of.

Worth knowing before you act on it: the suggestions are Flipkart optimising for Flipkart. A recommendation to cut price will reliably increase units and just as reliably reduce your margin, and the report does not know your cost of goods. Read the pricing suggestions against your own settlement figure rather than accepting them, and treat the listing-quality and assortment suggestions — which cost nothing but effort — as the ones to start with.

   Treating every row as equally urgent

   The export does not rank itself. Working through it in file order spends your first hour on listings worth almost nothing.
