What the file contains.
Two geography exports read against each other rather than one read alone. Same columns, but the output is movement: cities that started ordering, cities that stopped, and regions where revenue grew or fell against the previous period.
A single month's geography report is a snapshot and mostly confirms what you assumed. The comparison is where the decisions are, because a city that placed forty orders last month and none this month is a specific event with a specific cause — a stockout, a delivery-promise change, a local competitor — and a single-month view averages it into invisibility.
It is also the honest way to measure a regional push. If you advertised into a state or opened a fulfilment option there, this is the report that says whether anything changed, at the granularity the change happened at.
Like the single-month version it buckets into Indian zones, so it is built for Amazon India.
